StepsCoach is built with privacy in mind. We collect only the data needed to help you track your daily steps, view progress, and stay consistent. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Data we collect
- Activity data: step counts, distance, and motion data from your device's health framework, with your permission.
- App preferences: daily goal, units, notification settings.
- Account data (optional): if you create an account, we store an email address to sync your history across devices.
- Diagnostics: anonymized crash and performance data to improve the app.
How we use your data
We use your data to display your progress, calculate streaks and consistency scores, power premium analytics, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your choices
You can revoke motion and health permissions at any time in your device settings, delete your account from inside the app, or export your data on request.
